200 g sugar
200 g of soft butter
2 packets of vanilla sugar
1 packet of baking powder (11g)
300 g flour
1 pinch of salt
3 to 4 pears
Butter and flour a 26 cm diameter springform pan or line it with baking paper.
Preheat the oven to 160 °.
Peel the pears and cut them into quarters.
Beat the butter with the sugar and vanilla sugar until you obtain a creamy and smooth mixture. Add the eggs one at a time until completely incorporated.
Combine the baking powder, a pinch of salt and the flour and add it to the previous mixture. Mix well.
Pour it in the mold and gently press the pear pieces into the dough, keeping them visible. Bake for about 45 minutes until golden brown.
Unmold the cake and let it cool on rack.
